Tuesday, August 8

8 a.m.-1 p.m. Fair Building Open to 4-H Clubs Only

8:00 a.m.   All livestock can begin arriving.

8:30 a.m.         Open Class, 4-H & FFA Poultry Check-in

9:00 a.m.         Poultry Show

10:00 a.m.       Open Class, 4-H & FFA Rabbit Check-In & Show 10:30 a.m. 4-H/FFA Sheep Check-in & Weigh-in

1:00 p.m.         PeeWee & 4-H/FFA Sheep Show

4:30 p.m.         4-H/FFA Beef, Meat Goats & Swine in place

4:45 p.m.         All Livestock Exhibitors meet with Superintendents

5:00 p.m.         Beef, Meat Goat & Swine Weigh-in (Market Beef must be declared for the ultrasound contest at weigh-in - $20/head)

6:00 p.m.   Hugo Ranch Rodeo

Wednesday, August 9

8 a.m.-6 p.m. Fair Building Open

10:00 a.m. PeeWee Goat Show Followed by 4-H/FFA Dairy Goat & Breeding Meat Goat Show

1:30 p.m. Or 1-hour Following Goat Show if longer- Open Class & 4-H Dog Show.

4:00 p.m.   4-H/FFA, Open Class & PeeWee Swine Show

6:00 pm Women’s Ranch Rodeo

6:30 p.m.   Hi-Plains Rodeo Bible Camp Goat Roping & Rodeo on the Track

 

Thursday, August 10

8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Fair Building Open

7-9:30 a.m. Check-in Ranchers Pen of 3 (heifers)

9:00 a.m. Judging of Open Class Exhibits.

9:30 a.m. Ranchers Pen of 3 Judging

10:00 a.m. Dairy Cattle Show

11:00 a.m. PeeWee Bucket Calf & Open Class Breeding Beef Judging.

4-H Bucket Calf Judging 4-H/FFA Breeding Beef

2:00 p.m.    (or 30 minutes following Breeding Show)

Beef Showmanship followed by 4-H/FFA Market Beef Show All Photos of Market Sale Beef will be taken immediately after the conclusion of the beef show

4:30-7:30 p.m. Multi-species Rabies Vaccinations - $15 per vaccination. Provided by Eastern Colorado Veterinary Service and LC Public Health (dogs, cats, horses, cattle, goats, sheep)

5-7 p.m.           Lincoln County Stockman’s Steak Fry/Homemade cobbler donated by Lincoln County CattleWomen

6:00 p.m.         Home Brew Contest at BBQ Pit Contact James Emmerling: 719-743-2203

7:00 p.m.         Lincoln County Youth Night (Youth -18yrs. & UNDER) Entries due Monday of Fair by 6 pm or Entries Double.

9:00 a.m. Junior Livestock Sale Consignments Close 9 - 12 p.m.                         Beef Ultrasound Contest

9:00 a.m. 4-H/FFA Round Robin

11-12 p.m. Free Beef Tasting – Lincoln County CattleWomen - Events Bldg.

1:00 p.m. Pocket Pets for Youngsters (contestant must be able to talk to Judge. Under the covered area next to 4-H entry office)

Set up for Junior Livestock Sale. All livestock exhibitors must

check in with the superintendent to receive their assignment.

3:00 p.m.  All livestock exhibitors must be checked out with the superintendents before 4 pm on Friday, even if livestock are leaving after the sale.

4-5 p.m. Free Beef Tasting – Lincoln County Cattlewomen - Events Bldg. 4:00 p.m. Junior Livestock Sale & Buyer’s BBQ

6:30 p.m. Mutton Bustin – See “Rodeo & Track Events” For More Info

7:30 p.m. PRCA Rodeo.

9:00 a.m. Parade Entries Judged

10:00 a.m. Parade Downtown with VFW Band. 4th Steet Hugo Main Street

11-12 p.m. Free Beef Tasting – Lincoln County CattleWomen Events Bldg.

12:00 p.m. VFW & Shriners Band Concert Under the Tent

12:00 p.m.  Mutton Bustin – See “Rodeo & Track Events” For More Info

1:30 p.m.  Horse Races - See “Rodeo & Track Events” For More Info
