Attractions in Genoa
World’s Wonder View Tower -located on the north side of I-70 just west of the Genoa exit. This landmark may be seen from I-70 in either direction but is unfortunately NO LONGER OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME. In it’s heyday it served weary stagecoach passengers and was a lookout for bandits and Indians intent on disrupting the contruction of the nearby railroad. It was acclaimed by Ripley’s Believe it or Not for one’s ability to see 7 states from the top of the tower.
