Thursday July 31

8:30 a.m. 4-H/FFA & Open Class Ranch Horse Show Events will include:

  • Cutting
  • Ranch Sorting
  • Ranch Riding
  • Ranch Horsemanship
  • Individual Cow Work
  • Ranch Trail

Monday August 4

Fair building will be CLOSED

  • 10:00 a.m. Rabbit Check-In & Weigh-In. Followed by Rabbit Show
  • 1:30 p.m.  Poultry Check In & Weigh-in. Followed by Poultry Show
  • 5:00 p.m.  4-H/Open Class Fashion Revue in Ellis Allen Building
  • 5:30 p.m   Royalty Try-Outs (Part 2)-Speeches (following Fashion Revue)
  • 7:00 p.m.   Lincoln County Adult Night

Tuesday August 5

8:00 a.m.     All livestock can begin arriving.

  • 10:00 a.m.  4-H/FFA Sheep Check-in & Weigh-in
  • 1:30 p.m.     PeeWee, Open Class, & 4-H/FFA Sheep Show
  • 4:30 p.m.     4-H/FFA Beef, Meat Goats & Swine in place
  • 4:45 p.m.    All Livestock Exhibitors meet with Superintendents
  • 5:00 p.m.    Beef, Meat Goat & Swine Weigh-in (Market Beef must be declared for the ultrasound contest at weigh-in)
  • 6:00 p.m.    Ranch Rodeo
  • 6:30p.m      4-H/FFA Livestock Judging Come & Go Fun Contest

Wednesday, August 6

Fair Building Open 9:00 a.m.

10:00 a.m. PeeWee Goat Show Followed by:

  • 4-H/FFA Dairy Goat
  • 4-H/FFA Breeding Goat
  • 4-H/FFA Meat Goat Show
  • 4-H/FFA Goat Showmanship

12:00pm   Vendors may setup in the indoor building.

1:30PM (or 1 hour following Goat Show if longer) -Open Class & 4-H Dog Show

4:00 p.m. Judging Open Class PeeWee Swine followed by:

  • 4-H/FFA Breeding Swine
  • 4-H/FFA Swine Showmanship
  • 4-H/FFA Market Swine Show

6:00 p.m. Fair Building Closed

7:30 p.m.    Scott Brown Concert- Performing Under the Awning

Thursday August 7

8:00 a.m. Fair Building Open

7:00-9:00
a.m. Lincoln County Cattlewomen Free Beef Breakfast (Southwest of Rodeo Arena) 

7:00 a.m. Check in Ranchers Pen of 3 (heifers) until 9:30 a.m.

9:00 a.m. Judging of Open Class Exhibits

9:30 a.m. Ranchers Pen of 3 Judging 9:30 a.m. Lincoln County Cattlewomen’s Free Beef Breakfast (Southwest of Rodeo Arena)

10:00 a.m. Dairy Cattle Show

11:00 a.m. Judging of:

  • PeeWee Bucket Calf
  • Open Class Breeding Beef
  • 4-H Bucket Calf Judging
  • 4-H/FFA Breeding Beef

2:00 p.m. (or 30 minutes following Breeding Show) Beef Showmanship followed by 4-H/FFA Market Beef Show

4:30- 7:00 p.m Multi-species Rabies Vaccinations – $15 per vaccination. Provided by Eastern Colorado Veterinary Service & LC Public Health (dogs, cats, horses, cattle, goats, sheep)

5:00 p.m. Cowbelles & Friends Benefit during the Stockman’s Steak fry- Live and Silent Auctions under the big white tent by the livestock barn

5:30 p.m. Lincoln County Stockman’s Steak Fry until 7:00 p.m. Homemade cobbler donated by Lincoln County Cattlewomen

7:00 p.m. Lincoln County Youth Night (Youth -18yrs. & UNDER) Entries due Monday of Fair by 6 p.m. or Entries Double. To Enter Contact Anita Smith 719-768-3333

Friday, August 8

8:00 a.m.   Fair Building Open

9:00 a.m.  Junior Livestock Sale Consignments Close

9:00 a.m-12:00p.m. 4-H/FFA Beef Ultrasounds

9:00 a.m.    4-H/FFA Round Robin

1:00 p.m.  Pocket Pets (Youth Under 8), youth

must be able to talk to Judge. (Under covered

area next to Fair Office)

1:00 p.m.    4-H/FFA exhibitor check in meeting with superintendents and livestock sale set up

3:00 p.m.   Livestock exhibitors must be checked out with the superintendents before 4pm on Friday, even if livestock are leaving after the sale.

4:00 p.m.    Junior Livestock Sale & Buyer’s BBQ

6:30 p.m.    Mutton Bustin – See “Rodeo & Track Events” For More Info

7:30 p.m.    PRCA Rodeo

7:30 p.m.    Fair Building Closed

Saturday August 9

There will be NO 4-H or Open Class Animals for Public Viewing
