Join the Eastern Plains Cowbelles for the 5th Annual Cowbelles & Friends Benefit on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Hugo, Colorado.

This year’s benefit will support Renee Ewing, who suffered serious injuries in a devastating horse accident while working cattle. Because horses and cattle are both Renee’s way of life and her livelihood, her long recovery brings challenges extending far beyond physical healing.

The Eastern Plains Cowbelles will once again partner with the Lincoln County Stockmen and Lincoln County Cattlewomen during their Annual Steak Fry at the Lincoln County Fair. Guests can enjoy a delicious steak dinner while browsing and bidding on silent auction items. A live auction benefiting Renee and her family will follow the meal.

Our rural communities are strongest when neighbors come together. Please join us for an evening of good food, generous giving and community support as we help ease the financial burden of Renee’s medical expenses and time away from work.
