How Funding Works

The Lincoln County Tourism Board is a dedicated group of five volunteers, appointed by the County Commissioners, who represent the heart and soul of our diverse communities.

Our mission is two-fold:

  • Support Local, Attract Visitors: We strive to distribute funding fairly to beautification projects and events that enhance the quality of life for our residents. At the same time, we leverage these efforts to attract visitors to Lincoln County, boosting tourism and generating revenue for local businesses.

In short, we’re all about making Lincoln County a thriving destination, both for residents and visitors!

Have a project in mind? We’d love to hear from you!

How to request funding for your event:

The Lincoln County Tourism Board is excited to support beautification projects that enhance the visitor experience and showcase our county’s charm!

What kinds of projects qualify?

We’re looking for creative ideas that make a positive impact on public spaces throughout Lincoln County. Think:

  • Attractive landscaping at parks and trailheads
  • Eye-catching murals or public art installations
  • Upgraded signage for historical landmarks
  • Improvements to public restrooms and rest areas

The key is to focus on projects that:

  • Attract visitors from outside Lincoln County: Will your project entice new people to discover all that Lincoln County has to offer?
  • Enhance the experience of existing visitors: Will your project make Lincoln County an even more enjoyable destination for tourists?
  • Benefit everyone: Public areas that can be enjoyed by both residents and visitors are a priority.

Ready to get started?

We encourage you to submit your proposal!
