Funding
The Tourism Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5 pm in the Lincoln Health Board Room 111 6th street, Hugo, CO 80821, unless otherwise noted on the calendar on this site.
The Lincoln County Tourism Board is a dedicated group of five volunteers, appointed by the County Commissioners, who represent the heart and soul of our diverse communities.
Our mission is two-fold:
- Support Local, Attract Visitors: We strive to distribute funding fairly to beautification projects and events that enhance the quality of life for our residents. At the same time, we leverage these efforts to attract visitors to Lincoln County, boosting tourism and generating revenue for local businesses.
In short, we’re all about making Lincoln County a thriving destination, both for residents and visitors!

How to request funding for your event:
- Complete a Fund Request- include total budget and marketing plan
- Attend a monthly Tourism Board Meeting to present your request to the Board
- If approved, measure attendance and community impact/benefit during your event
- Complete a Post Event Form with pictures and metrics
