SUMMARY:Ned Ledoux & Randall King at the Colorado Prairie Music Fest
DESCRIPTION:Join us in Hugo\, CO- just an hour and a half from Denver and Colorado Springs August 10th for the Colorado Prairie Music Festival! \n  \n  \n  \nColorado Prairie Music Festival Wraps Up on Aug. 10\nwith Ned LeDoux & Randall King \n \n Country Music and a small-town county fair come together under Western Skies at the Lincoln County Fair.\n  \nHUGO\, Colo. (July 10\, 2019) — Country musicians Ned LeDoux and Randall King will conclude the third annual Colorado Prairie Music Festival in style on Aug. 10 in Hugo\, Colorado. Get a taste of Colorado’s Eastern Plains while taking in this boot stompin’ concert that wraps up the 124th annual Lincoln County Fair & Rodeo in style. \n  \nLincoln County Fair & Rodeo – Small-Town Americana \nMake a day (or several) of it with free admission to the Lincoln County Fair & Rodeo\, Aug. 5 to 10\, full of fun activities for all ages\, small-town style. Before the concert on Aug. 10\, expect bounce houses\, obstacle courses\, food booths\, unique vendors\, horse races and two performances of the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) Rodeo displaying the talent and bravery of some of the state’s finest cowboys and cowgirls. Plus\, there is a morning parade\, VFW and Shriners Band concert at noon\, and the always entertaining mutton bustin’ \n  \nColorado Prairie Music Festival – Ned LeDoux & Randall King \nStick around on Aug. 10 for authentic country music from two of the best in the industry\, Ned LeDoux and Randall King\, starting at 7 p.m. Their songs and sounds are traditional but are blazing a trail through the new country scene. Tickets are just $30\, and kids 12 and under are admitted for $5. \n  \nHeadliner Ned LeDoux\, son of the late rodeo and country music icon Chris LeDoux\, is keeping the cowboy in country\, playing many of his dad’s hits and pumping energy into the genre with his own songwriting. Growing up on a ranch in Wyoming and becoming a drummer in his dad Chris’ band Western Underground in 1998 at age 21\, Ned knew from an early age that music would be his focus\, no back-up plan needed. \nWhen Chris dad passed away in 2005\, Ned continued to tour with his father’s band to keep the musical spirit of Chris LeDoux alive. This drove him to pick up the guitar and try his hand at some of his dad’s songs. When the other band members heard Ned’s voice\, he found himself front and center singing at shows. Since then\, Ned has been steadily touring\, headlining concerts\, opening for acts like Toby Keith\, Garth Brooks\, Aaron Watson and Brother’s Osborne and releasing his first full-length album\, Sagebrush\, in 2017. \n  \nHumble beginnings\, a cultivated work ethic and the influences of classic country legends are at the core of opening act Randall King\, a singer-songwriter from the plains of west Texas. Many of King’s songs are written and inspired by his deep southern heritage and family roots\, and his music reflects honesty\, conviction and authenticity. \n  \nThere is free camping available at Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Hugo (15 miles southeast of Limon off Interstate 70)\, location of all the happenings\, and a variety of other lodging options in the area. The concert will take place at the brand new covered Livestock Barn.
